CES, WE ARE READY FOR YOU! 🖤💛

Open House is TONIGHT, August 20th, from 6:00–7:30 PM! We are so excited to welcome our Wildcats and families back for another AWESOME school year! 🐾

Families will begin in the elementary gym and visit each station to make sure everything is ready for a successful start to the school year. You’ll receive a checklist when you enter through the elementary gym doors, and our elementary secretaries will help ensure you stop at each station you need to visit before heading to your child’s classroom.

Don’t forget to:
✨ Visit the nurse
✨ Grab your free/reduced lunch
✨ Sign parent compacts, technology agreements, permission-to-publish
✨ Confirm transportation information
✨Grab your PPU cards
✨ And take care of any other needed paperwork!

We know the gym can get a little congested, but we take great pride in making sure every student gets home safely and on the correct bus. Taking a few extra minutes tonight allows us to double-check transportation information and make sure all necessary materials are completed before the first day of school.

Your child’s transportation information will be marked at the top of your checklist before you leave the gym. Please take that information with you and share it with your child’s classroom teacher. This extra step helps us double-check that we have every student’s transportation information correct before the first day!

Once you’ve finished visiting your child’s teacher, simply turn in your completed checklist as you exit near the elementary office. And here’s the best part… 👀

Every completed checklist turned in will be entered into a drawing for GIFT CARDS! Everybody loves free money!

UPDATE ON MANDATORY FALL SPORTS MEETING ON 8/20 AT 7:30 PM IN HIGH SCHOOL GYM

1) There will be a livestream provided. It will be on our schools HUDL Fan page. The link is provided at the end of this post. When clicking the link, there will be a paywall up. Parent/guardian will need to enter promo code CUBAPARENTMEETING. This will make the event FREE to view, but will allow for the athletic department to record participation so that required forms can be delivered appropriately.

2) If you are unable to attend in person or watch the livestream, a recording of the meeting can be delivered upon request. The paperwork will still need to be returned prior to the students first official competition date.

3) Information covered in this meeting will be different than what is covered in typical team meetings. This will include student eligibility requirements, paperwork explanations, athletic trainer protocols, and common points of confusion that occur throughout the school year regarding the athletic/activities department.

4) Your student does not have to be present at the meeting. While it may be beneficial to hear, only a single parent or guardian is required per family to be present, attend the livestream, or view the recording at a later date prior to the first official competition.
