Music Makers got to try out the new scarves today! They thought it was pretty cool they were the first kids in the school to use them 🙂
Showing high and low with what the xylophones played. Then we had to see if we could catch them when they were thrown!

🎓🎶✨ Senior Spotlight: Dahlia Becher
Dahlia Becher has been a dedicated member of our flute section and a great contributor to the Fine Arts department. Throughout her time in the band, Dahlia has shown a steady commitment to her music and a positive, helpful presence in rehearsals. Whether performing on the concert stage or supporting her section, her hard work has helped our ensemble flourish. We are proud of everything Dahlia has achieved and can’t wait to see what’s next for her! 🎓🎶✨

🎓🎶✨ Senior Spotlight: Lydia Troester
Lydia Troester has consistently led the top of our woodwind section on the piccolo. It takes a lot of confidence and precision to play the highest voice in the band, and Lydia has handled it with ease from the field to the stage. Her bright tone and consistent work ethic have been a staple of our performances for years. We’ll miss her leadership in the flute and piccolo section and wish her the very best in the future! 🎓🎶✨

Brittany Miller has been a key voice in our saxophone section, bringing her talents to both the Tenor Sax and Jazz Ensemble. Her ability to bridge the gap between technical concert pieces and the upbeat energy of Jazz and Pep Band has made her an invaluable member of the program. Providing the rich, deep foundation of our saxophone section, Josie Hartwig has been an absolute powerhouse on the baritone sax. It takes a unique blend of skill and strength to command the "bari," and Josie has done so with incredible style and soul. Whether she was anchoring the Jazz Ensemble with a groovy bass line or adding depth to the full concert band, her musicality has been a vital part of our sound. We are so grateful for the energy and heart she brought to every rehearsal, and we can't wait to see her shine in her next chapter! 🎓🎶✨

From the heart of the woodwind section to the vibrant energy of the field, Cameron Laack has been a versatile force in our music department. Cameron’s dedication to the clarinet earned her a well-deserved selection for the SWAL Honors Band, while her spirit and coordination shone as a member of the Colorguard during the marching season. A familiar and reliable face at our Pep Bands, her commitment to bringing school spirit to life has been invaluable.
