MCC Parking Update 🚨

Parking Lot E, next to Buildings E, F (Liebman Science Center), and G (Foglia CATI), will be closed from Thursday, August 27 to Monday, August 31 for MCC Community Block Party setup. Other campus parking lots will remain open.

MCC took over the Illinois State Fair! 💜

We joined the Community Colleges of Illinois tent, hosted by the Illinois Community College Board, with a full day themed around Athletics and Student Life.

And of course, Roary (in plush form) made new friends all day 🦁

Last week, MCC staff and students harvested two types of hops for Kishwaukee Brewing in Woodstock 🌿🙌

The team at Kishwaukee will use them to make a “wet hop” style beer that will be featured during MCC's Block Party on August 30!

Hops are just one of the specialty crops grown at the MCC Student Farm.

💜 “MCC has become a home away from home for me”

The Friends of McHenry County College Foundation is proud to announce that Taylor Swanson has been named the 2026 recipient of the Ervin J. LeCoque University Center Scholarship—an award that provides full tuition up to $28,000 for an MCC graduate to complete their bachelor’s degree through the University Center at MCC in Woodstock.

She’s a first‑generation college student, PTK leader, and now the newest University Center scholar pursuing accounting at SIU Carbondale.
