Friendship House of Crystal Lake Friendship House, a not-for-profit child care center, has been serving the McHenry County area since 1965.

From its origin as a part of the First Congregational Church to its incorporation in 1982 and expansion into the Lakeside Center in 1978, we have gained valuable insight into meeting the needs of both parents and children.

It’s a historic and bittersweet day for the Friendship House family! After 47 years of dedication, laughter, and life-changing mentorship, Ms. Amy is officially hanging up her hat.
To know Ms. Amy is to know what true selflessness looks like. She has been a teacher, a confidante, and a pillar of strength for generations of families. While we will miss her presence dearly, we are so overjoyed that she is finally taking this time for herself.
