Alicia Marcos Birong is Certified Clinical Master Hypnotherapist and a Certified Professional Life Coach and Certified Trainer in Hypnotherapy and Coaching. ished Guided Choices in San Diego over 15 years ago and expanded to the Chicago area over 5 years ago. She founded Guided Choices to offer an alternative to traditional therapy. Her clientele consists of all age groups and she specializes in working with children who have various behavioral issues including ADHD/ADD and sensory issues. She believes that Hypnosis is a great tool to assist people in change that they were unable to do through traditional ways. She also specializes in working with women assisting them through the various transitions of life, family, and career; using both Professional Life Coaching and Hypnosis. Alicia has worked in the nonprofit arena, the business community, and in the ministry. Alicia is a certified NGH (National Guild of Hypnotists) Trainer. She has presented at the NGH international, Mid-America and ACHE (American Counsel of Hypnosis Examiners) international Conferences; speaking on her specialty of Pediatric Hypnosis. She also teaches pediatric hypnotherapy at conferences and to therapists in the Chicago area. She is a pioneer in the field of children hypnosis and has developed techniques specific to helping children through hypnosis. She was the director of a hypnotherapy school in San Diego that offered an exclusive Pediatric Hypnosis component that she designed. Presently she has a certification program in hypnosis/life coaching in the Chicago area. She was Executive Director for a halfway house for women in Georgia and was Program Director for several treatment centers serving adolescents. She held the position of youth minister at the parish, diocesan and national levels; working in Michigan, Texas and Louisiana. Alicia is a wife & mother of two successful grown children and a grandmother. She volunteers with various local non profit groups, including Girls on the Run, helping children and women with various transitions using hypnosis and life coaching. Alicia has published various articles on Pediatric Hypnosis, and other aspects of Hypnosis and Life Coaching. She is currently in the process of writing her book on Pediatric Hypnosis.
