New Student Open Registration is Aug 10, 11, and 12 from 9-11 & 1-5. Drop into the Advising office, A257. It was great helping students register at Orientation earlier today! Classes start Aug 17.

**Accepted students** Aug. 4th is the last New Student Orientation (NSO) at MCC to get help registering for classes. Walk-ins are welcome! NSO starts between 9-10am, check in at the Welcome Desk, Building A. Use parking lot "A." Start with one step.

What if the career that's meant for you is one you haven't discovered yet?

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Warp Corps to McHenry County College for a day of exploration, discovery, and hands-on learning. Middle and high school students stepped into our Radiology, Sonography, Horticulture, Respiratory Therapy, and Fire Science & EMS programs to experience what these careers look like beyond the classroom.

From exploring cutting-edge healthcare careers to getting their hands dirty at the Student Farm, students were encouraged to ask questions, try something new, and imagine futures they may have never considered before.

The day concluded with a College & Career Readiness session, reminding students that there isn't just one path to success—there are countless opportunities waiting to be explored.

At MCC, we believe that sometimes all it takes is one experience to spark a passion, uncover a talent, or inspire a future career.

Getting ready to head out to Culver’s in Woodstock from noon to 2 p.m., but first I need to water the plants in the greenhouse. Too bad they can’t have frozen custard from Culver’s!

⚠️ McHenry County College Weather Closure
Due to the high likelihood of severe storms this afternoon and evening, McHenry County College and the Catalyst Campus in Woodstock will close today, June 11, at 2 p.m.

The Adult Education Student Recognition Ceremony scheduled for this evening has been canceled and will be rescheduled. Updated event details will be shared as soon as they are available.
