🎉 Kids Night Out is Back—Camp4Real Style!
🗓 Friday, August 28 | 6:00–9:00 PM

Join Camp4Real for an exciting 3-hour drop-off event at Brownsville Elementary School open to kids ages 5–12 in the Charlottesville area! Kids will enjoy action-packed P.E. games, engaging activities, and authentic connection—all led by Scotty Williams, Jamie Beeler, and Courtney Wood. It’s a great opportunity to stay active, make new friends, and have an unforgettable night!

🥧 Special Activity: Every child will have the chance to throw a shaving cream pie at a Camp4Real staff member! It’s a fun-filled finale your child won’t forget.

Plus, a portion of the event proceeds goes directly to the PTO and its ongoing support of the school community.

Last week, our beloved school counselor, Mrs. Callihan, experienced the unimaginable loss of her son in a tragic accident.

During this incredibly difficult time, we are holding the Callihan family close in our hearts and hoping to surround them with the same kindness and support Mrs. Callihan has shown so many of our students and families over the years.

There will be a remembrance for family and friends at King Family on August 5 at 5:30pm, per crozetnewz

Due to extreme heat conditions and increasing likelihood of afternoon storms, the Crozet Volunteer Fire Department Fourth of July Parade has been cancelled. The parade will not be rescheduled.

I made this decision after consulting with Albemarle County Emergency Management, a meteorologist, and taking into account all community feedback, current weather projections, and the health and safety of all participants, spectators, and first responders.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to ensure a safe and enjoyable Independence Day celebration for everyone.

📣 IMPORTANT UPDATE: FIELD DAY HAS BEEN MOVED TO TOMORROW, MAY 19.

We know that this is very short notice, but with the inclement weather that is predicted for Friday as well as on our rain date in addition to the other events scheduled for our last weeks, we feel this is the best plan.
