Warrame! For NAIDOC Week this year, we really wanted to explore native ingredients, and talk about our connection to country, especially the Dharug country that our centre lies upon. We listened to musicIans from our area, looked at and interpreted Indigenous symbols, explored ochre colours and tasted traditional ingredients.
We feel honoured to be sharing in one of the oldest continuing cultures in the world, and excited to build upon our knowledge.
