This week, I said farewell to yet another student who is going off to college. I know Max will do well at UMBC, make lots of friends and find his path. I'm crossing my fingers that music continues to be part of his life because he is so talented!

Alex is saying goodbye, moving on to University of Maryland, College Park. It's always hard to see a student leave, but it helps when he's got such a bright future as Alex does. I've rarely met a more talented, polite and kind young man. I'm sure that he'll find success wherever he pursues it.

I can't believe it has been 15 years since I began giving lessons full-time. I have so many people to thank: my supportive wife, Pam for saying yes to this crazy idea; my parents for giving me to love of music and the confidence to pursue it; and my students, all of them, past and present, who continue to make this the best job in the world.
