Indian Creek School

Creek faculty continue to demonstrate their signature this summer! Director of Outdoor Education Stephanie Chambers ’00 completed an 8-day expedition traversing the Palisade Mountains in the Targhee National Forest in Idaho for a leadership training course with the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS). The course focused on building wilderness skills, risk management, leadership, and environmental studies through experiential learning in the backcountry. We can’t wait for her to share these skills with our Creekers through our expanded outdoor ed curriculum this fall!

Big news for Creek Basketball!
Coach Casey Corkin, Basketball Program Director and Varsity Girls Basketball Head Coach, was selected to coach at Duke University’s prestigious Kara Lawson Basketball Camp this summer. He spent four days helping 170 young athletes grow their skills and confidence while connecting with some of the top coaches across the country, exchanging new ideas and aproaches to players development. We can’t wait to see the impact of his experience this season!   🏀

Everything Drones Camp took to the skies today! Campers tested their flight plans with a water bottle drop challenge, learning from each flight, making adjustments, and getting ready to take on the challenge again!

Creativity is key, as Adventure Quest campers experiment with different art mediums, making necklaces, fun foam art, and glitter paintings. We can’t wait to see where these artistic journeys take them

G’day from “Australia!” 🇦🇺 Our World Traveler Camp explorers went on an (air-conditioned) outback adventure, discovering some of Australia’s most iconic wildlife as they struck koala yoga poses, rolled like crocodiles, and stalked prey as great white sharks.
