Congratulations to the CPHS Symphony on their amazing Group 1 Performance at Penn HS ISSMA State Qualifier last night. They played their hearts out and it was a truly wonderful experience being on stage with them ❤️ 🎻 🎶 special thanks to all of the awesome parents who came out to support us and to Ms Hughes for riding with us!!!!

Wheeler Orchestra students on earning the ISSMA All Music Award for Orchestra 🎉🎉🎉 To qualify, students need to earn Gold Ratings at ISSMA Solo Ensemble, ISSMA Jazz Festival, and ISSMA Organizational events. We are very proud of your hard work, passion, and dedication!!!

Students of the CPHS Sinfonietta had a fantastic time listening to Dr. Diego Piedra perform the Mendelssohn Octet with the Valparaiso University Chamber Orchestra 🎶 CPHS was the last stop on the Bach Institute Outreach Tour today and what an incredible experience!!! It was especially heartwarming to see CPHS Orchestra Alumni Kane Sarna (Viola, Music Ed) and MacKenna Ervin (Cello, Nursing) return to perform for us. In addition to the remarkable performance, students heard about the joys, and frustrations, of the music making process, college life, and what’s it’s like to keep playing in orchestra while majoring in another subject area. We’re truly grateful for such an inspiring musical morning!!!

Congratulations to the Taft Camerata, Col. Wheeler Chamber Orchestra, and the CPHS Jazz Orchestra on earning Gold Ratings at ISSMA Jazz Festival tonight 🙌🎻🥇 thanks to our amazing parents who braved the rain and storms to support us and our awesome transportation department for taking us!!!
