Sweet Pea Preschool All Sweet Pea Preschool classes stress love, respect, imagination and a curiosity for learning. Children start at the age of three in our Nursery class.

Hands on and no-fail projects are given to promote social interaction. This class is offered in a morning and afternoon session on Thursdays & Fridays. Our preschool class is offered to four and five year old children and has a more structured curriculum. Projects are more hands on to promote personal growth. Since most preschool children enter kindergarten the following fall we include alphabet, numbers, fine and gross motor skills. Also, we help to build their self-esteem though stories and projects. With this the children learn to handle a plan and follow it through to completion. This class is offered either Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, or Monday through Thursday in both morning and afternoon sessions. Sweet Pea Preschool offers a unique preschool curriculum. In each class our children will learn sign language, cooking, art, music, and story time.

Our Sweet Pea Pods had another great week! We learned our daily routine and got straight to business working on our first letter, number, shape, and color!! We also did a little painting, read some books, played and showed off our best dance moves!

We did it! Our first full week of class is officially in the books! Mrs. McLean & Ms. LeVine are so proud of these little learners and how well they jumped right into our daily routine. We did a little painting for a craft to help decorate our walls and give us a chance to learn a little more about our friends. We had story time and read a super silly book, got our wiggles out and gave our brains a little break with some Danny Go!, and then got back to work on our number skills. We even pulled out the bowling pins to put our counting skills to the test! We ended our week with our very first Letter Show & Tell! What a fun way to wrap up a busy week!

Our Sweet Pea Pea Pods crushed their first week of school!! Today we did some work, read Time for School Mouse, we made silly mice masks, had play time and dance time and even made ourselves a yummy bus snack.

We think we had a pretty sweet first week in Mrs. McLean & Ms. LeVine’s class! These kids definitely put Glue Stick Gary to work with lots of crafts! Some made their way home, while others are now proudly displayed on our classroom walls. We learned all about our classroom procedures and expectations, and these guys are already becoming experts! They also got to see and practice what a typical day will look like once we settle in and get into our regular routine. We ended the week on a friendly (and scrumptious!) note with our Friendship Snack Mix! The kids had so much fun creating their own yummy mix. We can’t wait to see everyone on Monday! 🎉💗 Our First Day of Preschool! 💗🎉

What a BIG day for our little Pea Pods! 🥰🎒✨ We had so much fun getting to know each other and making our very first preschool memories!

📚 We read Pete the Kitty and The Pigeon Goes to School
🎨 Made some super cute crafts
🧸 Enjoyed lots of playtime
💗 Learned all about our new friends with All About Me
💃 Danced and had lots of giggles
🍎 And of course… enjoyed a yummy snack!

Our first day was filled with smiles, laughter, learning, and a little bit of preschool magic! ✨

We are SO excited for all the fun, friendships, and adventures this school year will bring! 🌈🖍️💗

It was a successful first day for Mrs. McLean & Ms. LeVine’s class! We learned all about our new friends, did some coloring, met Glue Stick Gary—our sticky classroom helper who loves helping us craft our masterpieces; we even put him to work, and most importantly, we all signed in for a super fun school year!
