Third grade students went on a measurement scavenger hunt around the classroom to find items that matched a given measurement. Completing this hands-on investigation was even more fun on Pajama Day!

Our second grade students are learning about the artist Wassily Kandinsky and creating their very own abstract work of art during art class.

STEM students in grades 3-5 used the scientific inquiry process to to investigate bubbles. They were tasked with blowing the biggest bubble they could on a table. They measured its diameter then collected, analyzed, and graphed their data. They all had so much fun with the bubble lab!

Kindergarten just wrapped up their first CKLA Knowledge Unit on nursery rhymes and fables. One of the nursery rhymes they read was “Humpty Dumpty”! As a culminating activity, each class brainstormed a structure with materials sent in from home that could protect Humpty Dumpty (egg) from a great fall! All 3 classes were successful, and students had fun coming up with ideas to protect Humpty!!

Who knew learning letters could get this messy—and this fun?! Our kindergarten friends are on a shaving cream letter hunt, spraying the dirty letters and matching them to their communication boards.

Kindergarten friends in Mrs. Gooding's class had the best first few weeks of school! The students have gotten to know each other and their school procedures, and they've made their teacher very proud. We're excited for a fun year together!
