School’s out and summer is in! Wishing all of our students and families a season filled with sunshine, laughter, adventure, and unforgettable memories—have a great summer!

The Lake Street 5th Graders started a new tradition of sharing their favorite memories, a note of thanks, and positive messages on the playground in their final days of being a elementary student! They will forever be Lake Street Dolphins!

Our pre-K class had an absolutely fantastic end-of-year celebration at the Bulldog Bash! Our little Bulldogs enjoyed face painting, dancing, bubbles, making friendship bracelets, photo ops, and more. Then ended with an epic FOAM PARTY! What a magical way to celebrate an amazing year together!
And.....Our preschool class celebrated the end of school at the Lake County Fairgrounds with families—we played, ate lunch, and had popsicles!

Mrs. Rowland Miller's class looked back at our wonderful school year by making scrapbooks! Students loved being able to get creative with pictures, stickers, and decorations to make a keepsake to always look back on. We loved reminiscing on an excellent year!

For more than 20 years, Kathy has dedicated herself to keeping Lake Street Elementary clean and safe.
Her hard work, kindness, and unwavering commitment have made a lasting impact on our school community.
Kathy’s caring heart, positive spirit, and countless contributions will be greatly missed, but we are so excited for her as she begins this new chapter. Thank you for everything you have done for Lake Street.

Mrs. Foster! What an incredible milestone! Lake Street celebrated her 21 years of shaping futures for our Dolphin’s. Foster’s forest will forever be a place here at Lake Street!! You helped our students build the confidence and curiosity that will last a lifetime. Wishing you all the joy, rest, relax, recharge, and enjoy the next great adventure. Lake Street’s Mr. Dennis, we are so grateful to have had you as our head custodian for 11 wonderful years! Your unwavering dedication and assistance have made a significant impact on our school. From the countless clean-ups, paper deliveries to handling miscellaneous requests for leaks and repairs, you’ve always been helpful. From the desk requests, furniture moving, and bird and duck rescues you have made a difference in our lives. And let’s not forget that laminator roll that needs changing! Your willingness to always help whenever the walkie beeps for your assistance is truly commendable. Our staff and students appreciate you more than words can express. As sad as we are to bid you farewell for now, we hope you enjoy your well-deserved retirement. Thank you for everything!

ABC Countdown has been a blast in kindergarten!! This Friday for letter "V" day was "Vacation Mode!" Mrs. Gooding's friends enjoyed a fun "vacation mode" treat and wrote about where they would like to take a vacation to!

Descriptive text: Mrs. Gooding's class celebrated the end of the year with a beach-themed day, complete with vacation writing on the smartboard, a tropical classroom setup, and ocean-inspired blue Jell-O treats topped with goldfish crackers and paper umbrellas!
