To celebrate CP Homecoming, Mrs. Lopez’s Kindergarten class and Mr. Gardner’s 3rd grade class teamed up for a fun, football-themed Buddy Craft!

Our students had the chance to chat, get to know their buddies, and work together while creating a fun craft! We love these special opportunities for our Eagles to connect across grade levels!

Buddies Gathering to Honor Heroes

Last week, our buddies came together to remember and honor the heroes of September 11. They read Fireboat, a beautiful story about an old fireboat that was put back into service to help during the events of 9/11.

After reading, our buddies discussed the many heroes who showed courage and kindness. Together, they created a special picture featuring their own heroes, with the shadows of the Twin Towers in the background.
