World Heritage Sites in Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is known to have many cultural and historical monuments. Among them, there are some very important monuments that the UNESCO has named them as World Heritage sites. There are Nine world heritage sites in Sri Lanka.

History of Sri Lanka - Sri Lanka has Nine world heritage sites defined by UNESCO. These includes six historic locations and two forest reserves.
