📢 **Reminder for Parents and Students!** 📢

Career Palooza and Science Camp begin on **Monday, June 8th**!

🚌 **Bus Riders:** Students must arrive at South Gallia **no later than 8:00 AM** and must be **picked up at 3:00 PM** each day.

🚗**Car Riders:**Students must arrive to Buckeye Hills Career Center between 8:45-9:00AM and be picked up at 2:15-2:30 PM each day.

👟 **Safety Reminder:** All students are required to wear **closed-toe shoes** during camp activities.

📱 **Cell Phones:** Cell phones are **not permitted during camp sessions**.

🚌 **Friday Trip Information:** Details regarding our trip to Kings Island on Friday will be distributed on **Wednesday or Thursday**.

We are excited for a fun and engaging week of learning and exploration. We look forward to seeing everyone on Monday!

Throughout the year, our classes have been engaged in reading mystery novels, which served as the foundation for this year's Right to Read week theme of Mystery. Each grade level meticulously solved their designated mystery, adopting the roles of private detectives and crime scene investigators for the duration of the week. We extend our profound gratitude to Samantha Shaffer of BHCC for her invaluable assistance during Right to Read week and the preceding weeks. Her contributions included providing essential materials and guiding students in techniques such as fingerprint dusting and the proper methodology for marking and capturing crime scene photographs. The Right to Read program achieved success, with students assuming the roles of crime scene detectives and acquiring new skills throughout the week. 🕵️‍♀️ They participated in hands-on activities, including dusting for fingerprints, searching for clues, and examining hair and fluids under a microscope, all while working to 'Unlock the Truth' behind their respective mysteries. The 6th-grade students successfully located the missing classroom pet, Honey the Bunny, the 7th-grade students discovered the hidden treasure, and the 8th-grade students solved a missing persons case. The students had a thorough enjoyment and even the teaching staff found the experience entertaining.
