The real challenge in a groove like this is lining everything up. Especially when adding accents and vertical contour. If one note doesn’t line up with everything else, it immediately becomes sloppy and it doesn’t work.

There many books, online courses, and materials out there but no matter what you use and what style you’re playing, you’ll find yourself working on this again and again no matter what! 👊🙌
