❤️ THE $5 CROS-LEX KINDNESS CHALLENGE ❤️
Last year, Dickinson Insurance Agency had a lot of fun supporting Croswell-Lexington High School Athletics with our $50 PER TOUCHDOWN fundraiser for the football team. Every time the Pioneers found the end zone, another $50 went back to the program. The kids raised $4k+ for themselves!
This year, we want to do something that can impact every student and every family in the Croswell-Lexington Community School System.
Our goal is simple:
HELP MAKE THIS A GREAT SCHOOL YEAR FOR EVERYONE!
No kid should dread walking through the doors of school because of how they’re being treated by other kids.
Some kids are confident. Some are struggling. Some fit in easily. Some don’t. Some are going through things that none of us — including their classmates — know anything about.
But every kid deserves a chance to have a good day at school.
So this year, we’re putting our money behind a different challenge.
💰 FOR EVERY CROS-LEX FAMILY THAT TAKES THE PLEDGE, WE’LL DONATE $5 BACK TO THEIR SCHOOL TOWARD A YEAR END STUDENT EVENT THAT PROMOTES TOGETHERNESS & CROS-LEX COMMUNITY SPIRIT.
It costs you nothing. ✅
We’re simply asking parents to make a commitment:
❤️ SIGN THE PLEDGE
❤️ Talk to your kids about bullying.
❤️ Remind them that being kind doesn’t mean they have to be friends with everyone — it means they don’t make someone else’s life harder.
❤️ Encourage them to include the kid who’s being left out and speak up when someone is being targeted.
❤️ Teach them that something they consider a joke might be incredibly hurtful to someone who’s already struggling.
❤️ And maybe most importantly — if our own kid is part of the problem, we commit to addressing it instead of defending it.
Nobody’s kids are perfect.
This isn’t about pointing fingers, blaming parents or pretending bullying can disappear overnight. It’s meant to be a positive value added for our community.
It’s about getting as many families as possible to have the same conversation at home.
Last year, touchdowns raised money.
This year, your commitment will.

Every verified family that comments = another $5 donated back to their school.
🏆 The Cros-Lex school with the highest percentage of families participating will also receive an additional $500 donation.
Imagine hundreds of families across Cros-Lex sitting down with their kids and having this conversation as the school year gets rolling.
That’s the real goal.
A great school year. A positive school environment. And a community where every kid has the opportunity to learn, grow and enjoy being a kid.
