Here's a local one from a very supportive individual of the page. This triple chute got 1 flue deleted,2 new flues installed, some upper brick work,minor tuck pointing. The call was mainly for a new chimney crown. Which is custom formed & poured concrete with structural specs of a driveway. Metal caps & sealer applied to finish it off!

6 foot Single Stack on a 2 story. Tear it all down to flashing, plaster coat to level from roof,rebuild with red brick. Very standard procedure other than lift didn't quite reach but got materials up & down. This one was in the lovely little town of Hadley. What a absolutely beautiful area to do a job in the fall at.

This local Full Stone House got a couple days of maintenance. Preventative maintenance at that!
Combed it over really well, with the help of the homeowners eyes, finding any bad/ loose mortar joints. Gave the chimney crown a treatment of Tammspatch brand overcoat. ( again,preventive maintenance) To complete with sealing all stone with Conproco Shield MX.

Local Concrete Gig. This one was on the list since July. A referral from previous customers of this gentleman's neighborhood. Sad to say this is the last outdoor flatwork job of the season! On to masonry for the fall times. Couldn't be more pleased due to fighting all the variables in outdoor Concrete finishes. The cold,leaves,wet times (when they arrive) lining up deliveries & all that trucking of material in & out etc.
Nice broad Patio, small overhead door approach to line up with that 60' walkway along the home! Lots of sod & broken Concrete to remove on this one! Thanking the great supporter Karl for accepting the sod/overburden dirt, Thuet Products for the material.
Got a little road travel in the previous week,even docked out on an inland lake for a couple days.
Gotta do it,ya know. Also,sold all the pumpkins grown this season by the other business, Durty Boi' Pharms.

This week's progress was taking care of some "pop-up" jobs. Handicap Ramp in the country setting to get to the vehicle safely. A few crawlspace peers for Austin Construction for their new project on the Lake. To complete the week an in-town dual exhaust chimney tune-ups. Both got new crowns đź‘‘,1 was able to get the precast crown the other had custom form & concrete along with some dissection & rebuild of the brick.

Chimney Crown replacement, along with some better metal screen caps. Replaced a few brick on the old dog too. A second smaller Chimney got rebuilt on same house,but didn't get a picture of it. The little porch walls were brought to attention from homeowner while being on site asking what can be done cost effectively. A smoothed over plaster job is what's best in this situation. Wadhams area

Did a couple smaller jobs this week. Was able to get at least this picture taken. BBQ pad concrete extension. These jobs don't get a square footage price,they are costed by the job of time & material. Which varies depending on access to work area & location of job itself. Also did some more cultured stone for this repeat customer on the garage pillars. Maybe she'll see this post & place a pic of that lovely stone work in the comments. Blue Water Beach was the location. Patio add-on was the job. The existing 10'by14' stayed in place, no need to remove if it's not bad at all. Then surround that with Bright white, light broomed concrete. Built like a driveway, this patio will endure decades of Lake Huron enjoyment. Back to the west side of Wildcat for now. Thanks for all the local support!
