Who wants Mums????

Even though we are in a heat wave it’s time to start thinking about fall decor.

Crossville FFA and FCCLA will be pre selling mums this year as our first plant sell in our new greenhouse!

Sale starts Monday 8/24 and runs through 9/11.

Last Friday, these FFA officers dedicated the entire day to gaining a deeper understanding of the value of community service, and in doing so, they discovered that lending a helping hand is not just about giving, but also about the positive impact it has on others. The scorching heat did not deter them from putting in a lot of hard work trimming and clearing the overgrown limbs and bushes. Through their selfless efforts, they not only accomplished a significant amount of work but also learned the blessing of serving others and contributing to the growth of our community.

Crossville FFA is excited to share its achievement of 4th place in the BOAC Project (Building Our Alabama Communities), a distinction earned through the tireless efforts of its members in the Lions Pantry program. Moreover, FFA members from Crossville High School and Boaz High School successfully completed a 4-hour kayaking trip on the Coosa River, cultivating camaraderie and leadership skills to further grow them in preparation for the upcoming school year!

The President of Crossville FFA for the upcoming school year recognized a chance to serve and acted decisively.

Chris Young, who is employed at Jacks in Geraldine, was aware of the restaurant's need for a new picnic table and utilized this opportunity to have our FFA program build one.

The students did and outstanding job the last week of school getting it completed.

So go by and visit Jacks in Geraldine to enjoy a meal and utilize the new picnic table!

Today was a day we will treasure forever, especially since it was our juniors' and seniors' grand finale of the 25-26 school year.

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the Ross family for opening up DnS Farms and sharing their generosity with our students.

Building their own fishing rods and reeling in their catches - some for the very first time - was truly unforgettable.

Jose Vargas made a remarkable catch, taking home the biggest fish of the day.

But what touched my heart the most was spending the day with our incredible seniors, whose impact on me and the CHS FFA program has been nothing short of remarkable. Thank you for being part of our lives, and I know you'll all achieve greatness, but we'll miss you immensely here at CHS FFA.

What a weekend! We can’t thank everyone enough for making this auction the best one yet! Great people, great products, and great supporters, showed up to make a record setting auction for our FFA and FCCLA programs!

Also, a special thanks to Angel Blanks and her family and Cory Ellen Amos and my family for helping so much! We couldn’t have done it without you!

To Shane and Clint, thanks for everything you did to make the night run smoothly and auction off over 160 items between the silent and live auctions.

To our students, your hard work paid off! A special thanks to all who helped run the auction the night of. We definitely couldn’t have done it without you!
