Pledge/Moment of Silence

7th Grade and Junior Eagles will travel to Star City THIS evening to see who gets that W. Game times are 5:30 and 6:30. Good luck to our Eagles!

The CMS Choir is hosting a talent show on Thursday, October 29th. Students, faculty, and staff are welcome to participate in this event. Registration packets are available in Mrs. Pippen’s classroom and the front office. Completed registration forms must be turned in by TOMORROW, September 25th.

The Professional Alliance of Women will hold a Ball Meeting for any 5th or 6th grade students who may be interested in a great opportunity. The meeting will be held THIS Saturday, September 26th from 1030-1130 at the Youth Center on West Third Avenue. For more information, please see Coach Anaya Jones.

If you are a 6th, 7th, or 8th grader interested in joining the Robotics Team, applications are available in the front office and Ms. Spradlin’s office. The deadline to turn in the applications will be Friday, October 2nd. For more information, see Mrs. Manzella. (609)

CMS Beta is hosting a Halloween Dance on Friday, October 30th. The 5th/6th grade dance will be from 6:00-7:30, and the 7th/8th grade dance will be from 8:00-9:30. Costumes are allowed and encouraged…just no face masks! We need to be able to see who you are! Follow all dress codes in choosing your costume. There will be prizes for: Best Costume, Scariest Costume, Funniest Costume, Best Couple Costume, and Most Creative Costume.

Word of the Month for September is Self-Control. Self-Control is the ability to pause, manage emotions, control impulses, and make thoughtful choices instead of reacting right away.

Good morning, CMS Parents and Guardians!

We had a PTO meeting yesterday evening and enjoyed some special guests! Kylie Sinks, Mara Elam, Kennedy Halley, Cason Cranford, Robin Rice, and Addison Shirey kicked off our meeting by playing us some songs they have learned while in Mrs. Sarah Pippen' music class this nine weeks. These students and their teacher did a tremendous job! We appreciate them for joining us!

We would also like to give a shout out to Jenni Kinnaird for winning the door prize! We hope you enjoy your Fiesta Linda!

Our next meeting will be October 13th at 5:30 in the CMS Library. Please consider joining us as we prepare for our Fall Festival coming up November 3rd.
