Hey Park Lions, friendly reminder from Mrs. Kopp and Mrs. Lerdahl to make sure those water bottles are closed up tight in backpacks to prevent leaking on your library books.
Sometimes this means we may need to make sure we aren't swinging around our backpacks but being gentle when we're putting them down outside in the morning for the morning all school recess.
We've had some soggy books returned and sometimes they get moldy and we have to throw them away.

We had just over 170 guests join us for our first All School Walk of the school year. It is a great way for us to start our day off with some movement while building our sense of community so everyone feels that they belong here at Park Elementary.

What a great kickoff to this year’s Family & Community Wellness Mornings! 🌟

Around 100 community members joined us Saturday at Park Elementary School for a morning of wellness activities and a hike promoting the Ice Age Trail’s October 2026 Mammoth Hiking Challenge.

Thank you to the Ice Age Trail Alliance, Cross Plains Rec, our community partners and all the volunteers who helped make the morning possible!

Next week, the Cross Plains Fire department will be speaking with our students about fire safety and prevention. Sunday kicks off Fire Prevention Week and the Cross Plains Fire Department, Wisconsin will hold their annual Breakfast and Open House. Students will bring home a ticket for a free breakfast in their backpacks this week.

Reminder: Make plans to attend one of our operational referendum community engagement meetings!

Join us tomorrow, Sept. 30, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Park Elementary School Cafetorium to learn more about the referendum, hear important information, and ask questions.

Additional community engagement meetings will be held:

📅 Wednesday, Oct. 21: Park Elementary School Cafetorium, 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
