Star Lake Camp Out Loud Star Lake Camp Out Loud is a camp for kids who stutter. We are located in Cross Lake, Minnesota on 400 acres of pristine wilderness.

Our vision is to foster confidence, communication and connection in every person who stutters.

We celebrated the end of our year 5 of Star Lake Out Loud with a celebratory dinner amongst the SLPs ❤️ thank you campers and families for making our dream of a wilderness camping experience for kids who stutter come true. You push us to grow in our creativity and knowledge every year. We will start planning for next summer in September! Please let us know if you’d like to receive our newsletter. YEAR 5 IN THE BOOKS!! One week post camp and we are still all on cloud nine! This year brought severe weather⛈️ midnight bravery bingo 🌙 lots of beach time ☀️and new camp experiences, like a lesson in knots 🪢 and shelter building 🏠 We want to thank our campers for another amazing week at Star Lake Out Loud. You challenge our speech therapy team to be creative in ways we never thought were possible! You are an inspiration to us and the stuttering community. Thank you families for sending your children to camp this year. See you soon 💕
