Christian leadership is not about having all the answers—it’s about trusting the One who does. Lead with faith, serve with humility, and let your life reflect Christ in every season.

Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies. — Luke 16:10

You may not always have a good day, but you can always choose how you respond to it. A positive attitude during difficult moments is a quiet kind of strength. It is not about pretending everything is perfect — it is about facing life with intention, resilience, and grace even when it is not.

Continuing to celebrate the incredible people who shape the success of Runge ISD, we recognize Coral Charles and Brent Bode for the culture of excellence they continue to build for our students.

Mrs. Charles has built a band program defined by excellence, discipline, and pride. With three state qualifiers and a 7th-place finish at the state level in 2026, her program continues to grow year after year at the highest level. Through her leadership, students are learning the value of commitment, teamwork, and striving for excellence in everything they do.

Coach Bode has helped create a culture of excellence across our athletic department. His leadership and commitment to student-athletes played a major role in achieving our first district football championship in over 30 years. The pride, discipline, and belief being built within our programs are creating lasting opportunities for students both on and off the field.
