🌟 Senior Spotlight – Josie McAnespy 🌟
Josie will be attending the University of Houston, where she plans to major in Psychology. She also graduates as Valedictorian, a reflection of her incredible dedication, intelligence, and work ethic.
Josie has participated in our theatre program since her middle school years through performances and class work where she has consistently demonstrated focus, leadership, and professionalism.
We are so proud of all she has accomplished and excited for what is ahead. Congratulations, Josie, you’ve made us so proud! 🎓⭐

🌟 Senior Spotlight – Juli Dorado 🌟
Juli is currently auditioning for theatre programs and plans to continue her passion for the arts at Sam Houston State University, where she hopes to study theatre and/or business.
She has performed in multiple productions during her time in our program and consistently brings strong energy, creativity, and commitment to every rehearsal and performance. Juli has been a standout both on stage and in the rehearsal process, always pushing herself and those around her to grow.

🌟 Senior Spotlight – Ethan O’Neal 🌟
Ethan plans to pursue his EKG certification after high school and begin working as an EKG technician. From there, he hopes to continue exploring opportunities in the medical field and grow his career in healthcare.
During his time in our program, Ethan has been part of productions including A Christmas Story, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Cenerentola. He has been a reliable and dedicated presence in every rehearsal and performance, always willing to step in and support the team.
We are incredibly proud of his focus, determination, and the thoughtful path he is building for his future. Congratulations, Ethan, your future is bright! 🎓⭐

While our One Act Play season has come to a close earlier than we would have liked, we are incredibly grateful for the support we received along the way.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, made the drives, and cheered us on from afar. Your encouragement, messages, and presence meant so much to our students throughout this journey.
We are extremely proud of this company and the work they put into A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Their commitment, growth, and heart were evident every step of the way.
Thank you to the other schools we had the opportunity to compete with, and to Magnolia High School for hosting a wonderful contest. Congratulations and best of luck to Porter, Barbers Hill, and Lake Creek at the region contest. Congratulations as well to Friendswood and Iowa Colony on their beautiful shows. It was truly a wonderful day of theatre.

A special moment from that day included our very own Puck, Josie McAnespy, being confirmed as the 2025–2026 valedictorian. We are incredibly proud of her both on and off the stage.
Days like these go on to remind us, it is truly about the growth of these students and what they learn along the way.

Come out for a fantastic day of theatre at Magnolia Drama tomorrow! Just one more sleep ‘til Area!!!!
Come out and support Crosby Theatre as we compete in the AREA round of the UIL One Act Play contest. It's going to be a wonderful day filled with some amazing theatre!
Our company of A Midsummer Night’s Dream will perform on April 8 at Magnolia High School at approximately 6:40 PM.
If you are able to attend, we would love to see a strong Crosby presence in the audience. Your support in the room makes a meaningful difference for these students.
