Ready for a little late-1920s aviation history? First flown in 1928, the New Standard D-25 biplane was designed by Charles H. Day to improve upon his earlier D-24 aircraft, adding a more powerful engine and being able to seat five people.

In 1929, it retailed for $9,750 (about $190,000 today)!

🔴 SWISS will resume daily Zurich–Dubai service from October 27, 2026, operating flights LX242/LX243 primarily with Airbus A340-300 aircraft during winter. The route will also offer Premium Economy. Flights scheduled for October 25–26 are cancelled for operational reasons, with affected passengers rebooked.
