Senior Spotlight: Kelsey Harms 🎓
From a nervous freshman finding her footing to a GEE Chair helping shape the very experiences that once made her feel at home, Kelsey’s journey at UMC is one for the books.

From Kelsey:

GEE became more than just an organization for Kelsey; it became a safe space to grow, connect, and create unforgettable memories for the entire campus. And this year, she’s taken that mission to heart as one of our incredible Chairs. We couldn’t be more proud to have had her leading alongside us.

As she gets ready to close this chapter, Kelsey is carrying with her the friendships that made Crookston feel like home and we have no doubt those connections will last a lifetime.

Next up? Working at her mom’s restaurant and hitting the road with two of her best friends. Sounds like the perfect send-off for someone who has poured so much into this community.

Kelsey, thank you for everything you’ve brought to GEE and to UMC. We’re so lucky to have had you. Go get ’em! 🦅

Senior Spotlight: Jada 🎓

From walking into UMC and feeling like she truly mattered, to finding a second family in GEE - Jada’s journey here has been nothing short of beautiful.

When she first joined GEE, she was a little nervous, but the openness and kindness of this club turned that nervousness into belonging and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

As graduation approaches, Jada describes it best: “These past four years gave me not just opportunities, but a sense of purpose, lifelong connections, and the kind of growth that changed me in ways I’ll carry forever.” 💫

Before she goes, she leaves her underclassmen with this: Say YES more often. Spend time with the people around you. And always, always give yourself grace because you’re still becoming. 🌱

Jada, GEE is so proud of you. Go change the world, Dr. Jada! 🎓
