Lake Elmo, MN Report -

⭐Thursday: Velma (with comp every day) 1st in Bred By Exhibitor Adult class /Reserve WB/Best Bred By Exhibitor. In Best Bred By Exhibitor in Working Group - ✨she made the final cut and if there was more than one ribbon, she would have won Reserve Best BBE in Group!! 😁✨

⭐Friday Specialties:
AM - Velma 2nd in BBE
PM - Velma 1st in BBE/✨RWB to the Major!!✨/Best BBE in Specialty

⭐Saturday: Xeno RWD, Velma 1st BBE.
⭐Sunday: Xeno RWD, Velma 2nd in BBE.

We are very happy with how Velma is holding her own in the BBE Adult class! Xeno being fresh and with less ring experience didn't show as well the first two days (and he is upset that his sister is in full blown heat 🫠) but Derek adjusted and got his butt in gear towards the end.

While we would love to come home with points, we choose to see the positives and know that their time soon will come. We accept the challenge of trying to finish out of BBE as an OH. Derek is doing a great job with them both!

Thank you to the judges, the host clubs, and the Greater Twin Cities Doberman Pinscher Club and their members for their hospitality, inviting them out, and putting on a great show and events afterwards!!

Trendy and Derek earned two Qs yesterday towards their BN obedience title! Their very first trial together and we couldn't be more proud! A 190 and 195.5!!!

Trendy had a bit of a brain fart for heeling the first trial since there was zero space to get her engaged before going in, but she turned on for the figure 8 and from there, it was smooth sailing! Couldn't be more pleased with how Trendy handled the pressures of a trial environment and worked for him!

Their second trial they were really working as a team and went from 9.5 points off in heeling to only 2.5! Great work!! Thank you to their judge Teresa Czaplinski for being a thorough and kind judge.

This handsome dude is on a roll! Another WD today in Muncie, IN. Unfortunately, the major broke in both dogs, and bi***es again. But they walked away with a Best Bred-By Exhibitor in Breed! That makes a Best BBE in Breed for both littermates that we own, which is so special to us!

His sister Velma also won her BBE class with competition and took RWB.

Thank you to judge Mr. Rick Gschwender for the wins! They aren't entered tomorrow as Trendy has her Obedience trial but they will be back Sunday and really hope the major holds. 🤞
