CUMCDC will open at 9am tomorrow, January 28, 2026. Please be safe!

Good afternoon CUMCDC Families,

I hope you all are safe and well after this weekend's storm!

Out of an abundance of caution for our staff and families, we have decided to CLOSE the Center, tomorrow, Tuesday January 26, 2026. We are still awaiting plows to treat our parking lots and sidewalks and many of our own neighborhoods (including mine) have not been treated. This decision was not made lightly and I apologize if this causes any inconvenience to you or your family.

OPM already sent out their decison to close the Federal Government for Monday January 26, 2026 due to the impending snowstorm this weekend. CUMCDC will also be closing this day as per our snow policy.

Registration for the 2026-27 school year for
Currently Enrolled Families begins on Monday, January 12, for
Previous families and/or church members on Tuesday, January 20, and
Open for Public enrollment on Monday, January 26.

In addition to weekly Chapel with Pastor Doug, our Pre-K students are singing, moving, and learning in all kinds of exciting ways! Twice a month, they make a joyful noise in music class with Ms. Amanda, and every Friday, they dive into Spanish adventures with Señora Meehan. We’re so thankful for these wonderful community partners who bring creativity, energy, and joy to our youngest “Community” learners each week!
