Crofton Elementary School PTA

We celebrated our inaugural Cub Culture Community Parade on Friday, June 5th! This first-of-its-kind event at CES was designed to celebrate our community and culture, honoring the many qualities that make each of us unique and special for simply being who we are and how we are. The CCC Parade gives families the opportunity to creatively showcase what makes them unique through a collaborative art project, where students and families created a meaningful collage to proudly display during the parade.

Some families explored the places they come from, while others highlighted traditions, holidays, recipes, sports traditions, careers, military service, or stories passed down through generations. Others reflected on the communities, faith traditions, professions, and groups that have helped shape their experiences.

We are so proud of this community and its support of our rich diversity!

The closest game in the over 20 years that Mr. G has been challenging the 5th graders to a kickball game to close out Field Day! They lost by only one run and even had a lead! Great job to everyone on both teams for one of the best traditions at CES!
