We are pleased to announce that Crockett FFA has been named a 3 Star Chapter by the National FFA Organization! This is the highest rating bestowed on chapters by the National FFA. The chapter will be recognized on stage during the 99th National FFA Convention and Expo this October.

Crockett FFA kicked off the Texas FFA State Convention strong! 💙💛

Monday was filled with meetings, interviews, leadership workshops, and choir practice as our members prepared for an exciting week.

Tuesday brought even more excitement as 10 Crockett FFA members earned their prestigious Lone Star FFA Degree! We were also proud to see Jazmine Smith make her debut as a member of the Texas FFA Choir.

We celebrated four of our Lone Star Degree recipients on stage:
🌟 Emelie Arvizu
🌟 Alexandera Kane
🌟 Sebastian Loyola
🌟 Lauren Maitland

Wednesday was an incredible day for Crockett FFA! Our chapter was represented in so many ways:
⭐ Courtesy Corps members Jaqueline Perez, Amaya Henderson, and Alicia Benavides volunteered through three different shifts.
⭐ Our chapter delegates represented Crockett during the business session.
⭐ Crockett FFA members walked across the stage three different times!

We are also proud to announce that Crockett FFA was recognized as one of the Top 25 National Chapter Award chapters in the state, advancing to the national contest! Congratulations to President Emelie Arvizu and Vice President Anna Lynch, who accepted the award on behalf of our chapter.

Our students also earned two incredible Final Four finishes:

We couldn’t be more proud of our members for their hard work, leadership, and dedication. Congratulations to everyone who represented Crockett FFA so well this week. We can’t wait to see what the rest of convention has in store!

Over the last two weeks, Crockett FFA proudly competed in the Area CDE Contests held at Stephen F. Austin State University and Sam Houston State University.

We are excited to celebrate the outstanding success of our teams:

Farm Business Management placed 2nd, advancing to the state contest, with Angel Gonzalez earning 7th High Point Individual and Miriam placing 9th High Point Individual.

Nursery/Landscape also placed 2nd, advancing to state, with Aaron Villanueva earning 2nd High Point Individual and Zamariyah McKnight placing 6th High Point Individual.

Forestry placed 4th at Area, advancing to the state contest, where they went on to place 7th overall.

Milk Quality placed 4th, advancing to state, with Mia Davis earning 8th High Point Individual.

Floriculture placed 5th at Area, securing their spot at the state contest.

Forages earned 5th place, advancing to state, with Hayden Goyens placing 10th High Point Individual.

Range earned 5th place at area.

In addition, our Vet Med, Poultry, Livestock, Dairy Cattle and Entomology teams also competed at Area this week.

Please help us congratulate all of our FFA members on their incredible hard work, dedication, and success. We are so proud of each of them and wish our state-qualifying teams the very best of luck at the state contest next week!

Congratulations to the Crockett FFA Forestry team for placing 7th at the State Forestry contest today!
I am extremely proud of these 4 seniors Justin Matthews, Sherlyn Garcia, Jennifer Mendez and Hannah Bertrand. They have worked extremely hard over the last four years to earn this placing out of 53 FFA teams today. I am very proud of your hard work!!

Congratulations to the Crockett FFA Forestry team Jennifer Mendez, Justin Matthews, Sherlyn Garcia and Hannah Bertrand for placing 1st at the Davy Crockett-Trinity Woodland Clinic contest. A special congratulations goes out to Jennifer Mendez for earning High Point individual and being awarded a $500 scholarship. Good luck at State!!

Thank you to everyone who came out, bid, bought, and encouraged our students. Your support means so much and truly makes a difference in the lives of these hardworking young individuals. Each project represents dedication, responsibility, and commitment, and we couldn’t be more proud of our students.

Crockett FFA members had a great time representing our chapter at the Houston County Fair! We are so proud of the hard work and dedication shown by our students across multiple events.

Members competed in Home & Garden projects, showcased their skills in Ag Mechanics, and stepped into the ring to exhibit their livestock. Their commitment, responsibility, and passion for agriculture were on full display all week long.

We are especially excited to share that several of our students made the Premium Sale, Freezer Sale, and Silent Auction! Be sure to come out and support them TOMORROW at 1:00 PM!
