Hi everyone! We're going to be pausing ROAR for a while. If we get enough people who want to be involved then maybe we can start up again in some way in the future. But right now we hope your families are blessed and I hope to see everyone again soon!

UPDATE- first aid class moved to 4/11.

We will be splitting the class into two groups- the younger and the older kids. While the older is in first aid class the youngers will be in P.E. While the younger is in first aid, the olders will have free time to socialize. EVERYONE IS WELCOME! No pre-sign up necessary and class itself is FREE. (Drop off fees will still apply if parents don’t intend to stay- $5/child)

Hey everyone! This is sewing class week! IT ISNT TOO LATE! I was able to purchase the materials in bulk! So I have 3 extra kits for any kiddos that weren’t able to get signed up in time. Let me know if you would like to still attend and you can make your payment ($5) on Thursday.

Each student will learn the basics of sewing using a sewing machine, hand stitching and iron ons.

They will also be taking home a miniature sewing kit and an embroidery hoop with fabric that they learned to hand stitch on!

I purchased enough for 16 students. We currently have 13 signed up.

It’s sourdough baking day!! If you didn’t let us know you were coming it’s okay! You can still come! Your kids will still love learning how to bake the bread and cookies and they will still be able to take some cookies home! 🙂 See you at 1.

Signups for next weeks sewing class (2/29) are due by THIS Thursday (2/22) at co-op. We need to purchase embroidery hoops, fabric, needles and thread for each student, which they get to keep! We will be teaching hand sewing (younger students will learn the basic running stitch, older students will learn a minimum of a basic and a back stitch) and how to use a sewing machine! Feel free to have students bring an item that needs mending!

Class date: 2/29, 1-4pm
Class cost: $5/child

Took a couple of photos while we were on break last Thursday during our Cookies and Canvas class! We were painting ostriches. The kids did so good! All the paintings were unique and fun! Can’t wait to see the turn out this week for Sourdough baking class! We will be making bread and cookies!
