This morning, the children spent time with visiting artists from Paper Midrash to create a community art piece depicting the story of creation, the very beginning of the Torah. With Rosh Hashanah near, the campus was filled with the sweet smell of baking bread as the children of Shirlee Green Preschool practiced making round loaves of challah to share with family and friends. As bread baked, they reflected on goals they aim to work toward in the new season.

From infancy to pre-k, we listen to, play, and jam to music led by the gifted artistry of our music teacher, Zoey. This month, children are strumming guitars, feeling the sharpness of the strings, and finding surprise in each sound it brings.
