🚒❤️ Our little heroes met some real-life heroes today! ❤️🚒

We had so much fun meeting our amazing firefighters and learning all about fire safety! From exploring the fire truck to seeing the gear they wear, our little learners were full of excitement and curiosity. 🧯👩‍🚒👨‍🚒

A BIG thank you to the Creve Coeur Firefighters for visiting The Goddard School and helping our children learn how to stay safe! 🥰🔥🚒

Kindergarten readiness can show up in everyday moments, not just big milestones. A few signals to notice:

1. They’re building confidence to try things independently. Examples: walking into a room first, asking for help, or giving something new a try.

2. They’re starting to recognize the letters in their name, even if they’re not reading just yet.

3. They’re showing care and responsibility at home. This could include things like helping pack a bag, feeding a pet, putting away toys, or getting through part of their routine with a little more ease.

Every child grows at their own pace - and readiness looks different for every family. Their preschool teachers can be a great partner in noticing strengths, celebrating progress, and helping you think through what comes next.
