🏀 Check Out Our New Video Board in the CMHS Main Gym! 🎉 With the IHSA recently mandating that all schools hosting boys’ and girls’ basketball games implement shot clocks, that requirement was one contributing factor in our decision to replace the previous scoreboard. We also experienced a few brief scoreboard outages during last winter’s basketball season, making this the perfect time for an upgrade.

We’re excited to have this new technology in place and ready for another great season of Warrior Basketball! 🏀💙

Today was Institute Day at CM 201-U! Our Office of Teaching & Learning Team led educators through professional learning, team building, curriculum planning, and classroom preparation to make sure everyone is ready for a great start to the school year.

Tomorrow, August 19, we officially welcome our students back! We can’t wait to see everyone and kick off another amazing year. 💙💛

August Alumni Spotlight is here! 🎓 Meet Debrell Miggins (Young), CMHS Class of 2005 — a proud Warrior who has come full circle, now inspiring young minds as a first-grade teacher while continuing her own educational journey. 🍎✨

From show choir to her favorite junior-year English class, Debrell credits Mrs. Dewey for encouraging her and helping shape her growth as a reader and writer. 📚

💬 Her advice for today’s Warriors:
“Believe in yourself. Work hard, stay focused, and don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Surround yourself with people who uplift you—and most importantly, enjoy your high school years and make lasting memories.”
