Dear Crete-Monee School District 201-U Families and Community Members,

Crete-Monee School District 201-U is proud to provide FREE breakfast and lunch to all children 18 years of age and younger throughout the summer. Meals will also be available on-site for students attending summer school or district camps.

Due to the overwhelming response from families registering for our Grab-and-Go Meal Program, the pick-up time and location have been consolidated to one central site.

Grab-and-Go Meal Pick-Up

Location: Early Learning Center (ELC)
Dates: June 8 – July 23, 2026
Days: Monday through Thursday
Time: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

If you have not yet registered, you're still welcome to participate! Simply stop by during operating hours to sign up, and you can begin receiving meals that same day.

Families may choose one of two convenient pick-up options:

Daily Pick-Up: Visit Monday through Thursday to receive that day's breakfast and lunch.
Weekly Monday Pick-Up: Pick up four breakfasts and four lunches per eligible child on Monday to cover Monday through Thursday meals.
Traffic & Safety Information

For everyone's safety, please follow all posted entrance and exit signs, parking lot arrows, and staff directions when arriving for meal pick-up.

Please remain in your vehicle until you have reached Door 12.
The doors will be propped open for your convenience.
We ask that only one family enter the building at a time to help ensure a safe and orderly pick-up process for everyone.
Please follow all instructions from staff members during your visit.

Happy School Lunch Hero Day!

I want to take a moment to recognize and sincerely thank each of our Food Service Team members for the incredible work they do every single day. their dedication, hard work, and care do not go unnoticed. They play such an important role in our school community, providing not just meals, but comfort, consistency, and kindness to our students.

As we head into the final three weeks of the school year, Please know how much their effort and commitment should be appreciated. They continue to show up with positivity and professionalism, and it truly makes a difference in the lives of the students they serve.

If you see them today please thank them for everything they do. We are so blessed and to have such a strong and caring team in our district.

Wishing them a wonderful School Lunch Hero Day, they deserve to be celebrated!

Tomorrow’s weather forecasts indicate extreme cold, with temperatures well below freezing, creating unsafe conditions. As a result, CM 201-U will issue an E-Learning Day on Monday, January 26th.

The Food Services Department will distribute meals, Breakfast and Lunch on Monday, January 26th, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Bridges, Crete-Monee High School South Wing, accessible through Door BR-1.
Parents can come pick up meals for all their students.

Remember to come and purchase a ticket for the Food Service Tree at the Boosters Craft Show this weekend at the High School. The last time we put a tree in the trees around the district, we raised about $700.00. We gave 17 students, at least 1 student from each school, a $40.00 Walmart gift card, so some students will have food during winter break. We can't wait to see how we do this year.
