💗 Our Growing Place Family – Please Join Us in Prayer & Support 💗

One of our sweet little girls and her family are walking through a very hard fight right now. As a community, we believe in surrounding our families with love, prayer, and action during times like these.

We are asking our Growing Place families and friends to please join us in lifting this precious child and her family up in prayer. Prayer is powerful, and we trust that God is near, present, and working—even in the hardest moments.

In addition, we are honored to be hosting a Blood Drive with Bloodworks Northwest as a tangible way to support families in need.

Potential Summer School -age program

It has been brought to our attention there is a need for more
school-age care this Summer, so we are exploring the possibility of offering a Summer program to help meet that need.

This program would be filled with fun activities , creative projects and engaging learning experiences for children kindergarten through 6th grade.

Before we finalize our plans , we would love to hear from you!
if you are interested in enrolling your child this Summer , please let us know ASAP.

This program would be Monday - Friday 7:15 - 5:00
June 16th - August 26th

We are excited to announce that we will be opening a new room at our baby location (located @300 Mill street) in September.
We are currently scheduling tours and would love the opportunity to show you our infant / toddler program ( 6 wks - 2.5 years)
We know that infant care is difficult to find, which is why we decided to open our specialized infant /toddler program 1 year ago to better serve this very vulnerable age and our 30+ years of clientele.

Great things are happening at The Growing Place Preschool and childcare center!

We have been serving families in Creswell and surrounding areas for over 29 years and We are looking to add a teacher and aide to our team who are dependable and have a passion for teaching & creating a positive, safe and encouraging atmosphere for the children in our care.

Job description
We are a state licensed childcare center providing care for children 6 weeks through Pre-kindergarten. We are Looking to hire both full and part time positions.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide responsible care for children.
• Treat all children with care and compassion.
• Uphold all safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and orderly classroom.
• Maintain a professional attitude, respecting family privacy at all times.
• Provide structure and accountability in a compassionate fashion.
• Provide enriching, developmentally appropriate, educational activities.
• Partner with parents as needed to address challenges or concerns.
Qualifications:
• Enrollment in the Central Background Registry.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• 6 months to 1 year experience working in a licensed childcare setting or education equivalent.
• Working knowledge of childhood development.
• Creativity, compassion, and professionalism is a must.
• Fun and enthusiastic attitude
• Willingness to sing, dance, and “be silly” with the children.
• Exceptional patience and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent listening skills and an engaging demeanor.
• Physically able to perform tasks, including but not limited to, sitting on the floor, lifting children up to 30lbs.
• Dependability is critical.
