Found water dripping inside this furnace cabinet and it turns out that hot, humid outdoor air was being pulled in and condensing on the cold metal inside. In this house, leaky return ductwork and a couple of big cantilevers were the culprits.

This family was breathing dusty attic air for YEARS and didn't know it! 🤯

I absolutely hate this and it happens every day! The contractor who proposes a “solution” with the most confidence, at a “reasonable price” usually wins the job.

Without providing any evidence it’ll work or promising to verify it works as intended.

Most people don’t want to hear their house is f—cked and needs a complicated, expensive solution, so they go with the company who offers an easier option because that’s what they want.

I hate it.
