A peek at some of the beautiful creations from this week’s Botany Camp.

Art is a big piece of our curriculum and daily routine for so many reasons. We love the autonomy it brings children and the opportunity it gives them to make choices. We love the fine motor skills it builds, the patience and appreciation for process. But most of all, when children make art, it’s showing them that they can make what they imagine. Our hope is that our students become confident they can make anything and everything their heart desires. It starts with art, building blocks, and pretend play. It becomes the capacity to create businesses, farms, new ideas, and a better world.

Another beautiful egg hunt! At Bluebird, we all work as a team to find our eggs. We gather them into big collection baskets then divide them up among all the kiddos. This year we had over 700 eggs! After we enjoy a sweet picnic. It’s one of our favorite traditions and each year we are blessed with gorgeous weather on beatiful Foxhollow Farm!

Moose definitely thinks he is one of the Bluebirds!

Ms. Marybeth got a PUPPY and some of the Bluebirds volunteered to hike to her house to let him (Moose!) out. Moose LOVED the children and was a very good boy. The horses were kind enough to stop by for a visit too!

We made the most delicious granola for our families for Valentine’s Day❤️❤️❤️.

Love is in the air in our cozy Cottage! The sweetest part is that the children are more excited to give away the valentines they made than they are about receiving them.❤️💝❤️💝❤️
