A Message from Bill:

“Dear Elim Family,

With a natural mix of emotions, I am writing to let you know that after 27 deeply fulfilling years, I will be retiring from my role as President of Elim Christian Services, effective September 1, 2027. After much prayer and many conversations with Kim and the Board, I believe this is the right time for both our family and for Elim to begin this transition.”

Construction is making exciting progress, with walls and cabinets going up in the art room and concrete being poured for our new playground equipment. It’s incredible to see these plans take shape! And stay tuned because there’s more to come!

After 36 years of service, we are celebrating our Adult Services Program and Case Manager, Linda Christianson, as she begins her well-earned retirement! We are so happy for her in this next chapter of her life, and grateful to God for her dedication as a staff member over the years. She will be deeply missed on our campus!

Earlier this Summer, our Orland Park Adult Services group recently partnered with Christ Church of Oak Brook to assemble more than 200 hygiene kits for Pacific Garden Mission. We are making great progress on our Capital Campaign construction. The walls are up in the new Sensory Art room, and the ground has been leveled for construction to begin on our reimagined Middle and High School Playground.
