If you plan to drop off OR pick up your child through the Walker car line, please take a few minutes to watch this video before the first day of school!

Our car line works best when everyone knows the process and follows the same procedures. Taking just a few minutes to watch ahead of time will help us keep traffic moving, keep our students safe, and make arrival and dismissal smoother for EVERYONE!

A huge thank you to Wings On Wheels for donating 50 backpacks to Walker Elementary today! 🎒💙💛

Because of generous community partners like you, we’re able to fill these backpacks with school supplies and help ensure our students have what they need to start the school year ready to learn. Your kindness and support make a difference in the lives of our Owls, and we are so grateful for your investment in our school and our students.

This year, we’re excited to launch our Walker Owl Service Squad, a group of students who will proudly raise and lower our American and Florida flags each day while learning the importance, respect, and responsibility that comes with caring for them.

As we prepared for the school year, we realized both of our flags needed to be replaced. When we reached out to our School Board Member, Mr. Bryant, he immediately stepped in to help. Thanks to his efforts and the generosity of Auburn Water System, we were able to receive a brand-new State of Florida flag before the first day of school.

We wanted our students to begin this new tradition with two beautiful, fresh flags flying over Walker, and because of incredible community partners, that’s exactly what they’ll have.

A heartfelt thank you to Mike Kapotsky, Auburn Water System, and Mr. Bryant for your generosity and for investing in our students. Your support reminds us that it truly takes a community to help our Owls soar. 💙💛🦉
