About me: I began piano lessons at the age of 5, starting with the Suzuki method style of musical immersion. I use a combination of both methods when teaching my students! I am originally from Akron, Ohio, graduated from Ohio University in 2004 with a B.S. I taught Kindergarten and 2nd grade for 8 years, then recently decided to take a break from the classroom in order to focus on raising my two b
oys. I have always had a passion for music- playing the piano as a child, the flute in my highschool band, as well as the playing the keyboard in Mosaic Church of Crestview's worship band! I look forward to passing on my passion for music through personalized piano lessons. I use the Faber Adventures Series for my lessons. This library of practice books include a series for young children (5-6ys), older children (7-11ys), older beginners (11+), as well as adult beginners. If you've always wished you could play the piano or want to give your child an introduction to music I'd be happy to talk with you and set up some lessons! Send me a fb message today!
