Leigha Nicole - Splendid Yoga Leigha Nicole is an authorized Ashtanga Yoga teacher & certified Yoga Therapist Her love of Ashtanga Yoga brought her to India to study extensively with Sri K.

Leigha has been teaching yoga since 1984 and taught at Yoga Works in Santa Monica, Ca., since it's inception in 1987. It was through Yoga Works and The Iyengar Yoga Institute of Los Angeles that she had the opportunity to study with senior teachers from all over the globe. Pattabhi Jois, and was authorized to teach by him in 1996. She was fortunate to have Tim Miller as her teacher in the West for

over 25 years. Leigha has taught yoga in a wide variety of venues; from Zen monasteries to corporations and even taught entertainer Bette Midler privately on a 62-city tour. She is also a certified Yoga Therapist with The International Association of Yoga Therapists. Leigha has a gentle, uplifting approach and is passionate about bringing precise alignment to the graceful movements of traditional Ashtanga Yoga that make it a "moving meditation". Her teaching is infused with an intimate knowledge of anatomy that stems from a bodywork practice of over three decades, which enables her to address the specific therapeutic needs of her students.

Hello Yoga friends,

The early-bird pricing ends today for my Mysore-Style Ashtanga Yoga Immersion, March 10-21. Whether you are wanting to add poses to your current practice or coming back from a hiatus or injury, our classes will be welcoming and therapeutic for any injuries but, most of all 🌟FUN🌟.

I am also offering a workshop; Anatomy and Adjustments, March 21. This workshop is suitable for all practitioners, especially those who are interested in going deep into the anatomical actions present in some of the core postures that are common to all yoga styles. Yoga Alliance continuing education credits are available for yoga teachers.

The intimate Mysore class environment is my favorite way to share the Ashtanga method and customizing programs is one of my biggest joys.

Classes are 6:30-9am weekdays + Sundays 8:30 - 11am with no class Saturday, 3/14. Anatomy and Adjustment workshop is the last day Saturday, 3/21 @ 11-3pm.
