It’s ‘ulu season !
We’re getting ready to plant six more.
Also looking for varieties besides Otea and Ma’afala so if anyone seeing this has some & willing to share for air layering, we’d be so grateful.

Though the hermaphrodite trees produce the biggest fruit and it’s recommended to cull the males and females, I find it hard to cut the female papaya trees because their huge flowers are gorgeous.

Beautiful much-needed day of community & contact & hopefulness at the La Hoihoi Ea celebration in Paauilo. So many good land-based projects are happening. And there was abundant food, plant art, music and learning. ♥️
