Early Childhood Education Programs at SWCC Early Childhood Education programs at SWCC include teacher mentoring, SWVP support, CDA support, an Associate Degree and a Fall ECE Conference.

ECE at SWCC supports, educates, and seeks to empower early education teachers and providers, as well as families with young children, through mentoring, professional development, and parent education.

The CDA® Renewal Amnesty Program is back for a limited time!

This program will allow anyone with a CDA credential expiration date as far back as January 1st, 2016, an opportunity to complete the renewal process and make their credential active again.

TEACH Scholarship Deadline July 15th!!!!!

The TEACH scholarship contracts are for one year each, supporting tuition for up to 15-20 credits, books, release time, travel, costs, and an annual bonus or raise!

What to do before applying:
• Talk with your director about supporting you with a scholarship.
• Think about your long-term goal.
• Contact TEACH to talk with a counselor about scholarship and college options.

We are seeking a dedicated individual to assist the Early Childhood Program Director in meeting the goals of our Blue-Ribbon Affiliate Parents as Teachers (PAT) program. In this role, you'll step into living rooms, community centers, and the everyday moments of family life — bringing research-based knowledge, genuine warmth, and real support to parents raising young children in Union and Adams County.

What You'll Do
• Provide in-home family support and parent education to families in the community
• Deliver the evidenced based Parents as Teachers curriculum with care and cultural sensitivity
• Partner with the ECE Program Director to meet program goals and outcomes
• Connect families to resources, build trusting relationships, and celebrate milestones together

Position Details:
• Full-time with benefits

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in early childhood, human development & family studies, education, health, or a related field
• Experience as a home visitor/parent educator preferred
• Home Visitor Credential or National Family Support Professional Certification preferred
