Mount Aloysius College has announced a new agreement with Owens Community College, near Toledo, Ohio. Beginning fall 2026, students graduating from the American Sign Language interpreter program with an Associate of Applied Science at Owens are able to continue their education in the Mount’s bachelor’s of American Sign Language/English Interpreting program. This agreement will allow students at Owens to further their ASL interpreting skills and knowledge and prepare them for becoming a certified interpreter.

This week we got to host our annual Health Camp for High School students. We present a situation that would entail a trauma patient and the students get to follow the “patient” as they receive treatment throughout all of our health science departments.
