Our assistant courses span three months. As adult learners move through the course, they will gain knowledge of child development, the Montessori philosophy, learning environments, the role of the prepared adult, curriculum, and observation.
Learners will also participate in self-reflection to facilitate awareness of the important role they play as the link between the child and the classroom environment.
The added benefit of Zoom lectures with our instructors wets our assistant training program apart from other programs. Live lectures provide opportunities for collaboration, connection, and real-time discussion.

Maria Montessori spoke often about the importance of the development of the hand. The hand is the child’s first tool for exploring and understanding the world. Through use of the hand the child builds connections that strengthen the developing brain. Everything we thoughtfully place in the child’s hands is an opportunity for learning.
