I volunteered with Imagination library - Dolly’s organization & JLL. I was bold enough to ask Evander Holyfield - who is there that weekend for a fight - to support Imagination Library free books for children 0-5. He was such a sport. I really appreciated it. ♥️ ~ Dr. Diana Lawrence

Last night I led a DWP training to assist the Queens in preparing their competition materials. I am so grateful to Kimberly, Esther, and Bri for their support. It’s surreal that I will no longer competing but I love that I can mentor other women and help them show up in the best way possible.

Do you realize that when you decide to use pageantry to promote your platform, you are NOT left to figure it all out on your own? 👑❤️

One of the things I appreciate about Dr. World Productions is that wearing the crown is about so much more than a title, a sash, or a pretty picture.

Each month, we come together for training designed to teach us how to use our crowns with purpose. We learn how to share our platforms, strengthen our message, connect with our communities, and reach people who may have never heard about the causes we are passionate about otherwise.

Yesterday’s Zoom training was another reminder that we aren’t just queens cheering each other on. We are learning from one another, mentoring one another, and becoming better advocates for the people and causes we represent.

For me, that means finding more opportunities to educate people about service dogs for veterans and making sure veterans know about resources that could truly change their lives.

That’s what I love about Dr. World Productions. 👑

Education. Community Service. Mentoring.

The crown may get someone’s attention, but what you DO with that attention is what really matters. ❤️🇺🇸
