Union Meeting, Tuesday 10/21at 4:30pm, DNHS Library

Hello CSEA Members!

We are having an out of schedule special meeting this Wednesday at 3:45pm at the Del Norte High School Library in order for us to ratify the Memorandum of Understanding to allow staff to work 4, 10 hour days rather than the original 5, 8 hour days. There are staff that want to move to this schedule over the summer and we need your support to allow them to do that. More detail on the remote meeting availability coming soon!

We need your help! Call for volunteers for our Union Committees.

Dear Union Members,

We are looking for dedicated volunteers to join our committees and contribute to our union’s effectiveness! Your participation makes a real difference.

1. Standing Rules/Bylaws Committee:
We need 5 volunteers to help us review and update our standing rules and bylaws. This is a vital role, as it ensures our operations run smoothly and within our guiding principles.

2. Scholarship Committee:
We are seeking 5 volunteers for the Scholarship Committee, which will be responsible for evaluating scholarship applications and distributing funds to deserving candidates. Your insights can help support our community’s education.

3. Site Representative:
We need one Site Representative to act as a liaison between our members across all sites and the union. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless communication and representation.

If you are interested in volunteering or would like more information about any of the positions, please attend our monthly chapter meeting this Wednesday, 2/5/25 at 4:30 at the District Office Computer Lab or contact me directly.
