School is out and safety for families is key! Be extra cautious, wear the proper outdoor safety equipment and take your time getting to where you are going.

Here is more of how to have a safe summer for everybody!

It might seem okay to wrap your child in a towel to protect your car seat after a day of splashing around at the pool, but towels are a lot like puffy coats, they can create bulk and compromise your child's safety. Instead, consider changing your child before you head home or if that's not an option, make sure your child is sufficiently dried before buckling up. As long as it's not completely soaked, a slightly wet suit shouldn't impact your car seat.

Participants in your program have diverse needs, and serving them well starts with the right training. Our Special Diets Boot Camp on June 17 gives you a full day of expert-led sessions designed to build the skills and confidence to get special diets right.

Across six live sessions, we'll cover topics like menu modifications, navigating medical statements and supporting participants with disabilities. Plus, you'll get access to two on-demand bonus sessions on allergens and milk in the CACFP.

We have added hours to our Thursday distribution. You can now visit us in the morning from 10 am -12 pm.
Food recovery will be at all distributions as it's available.
